Week Fifteen

{ What new chalk does for a bunch of kiddos. }

Thank you Costco for the new supply of sidewalk chalk. We've had so many cities drawn with Starbucks, parking lots, round-a-bouts and the local Windmill included but overall it has given the kids smiles in between he rain showers. 

Week Fourteen

{ The makings of rules playing an ever-changing card game with a preschooler. }

{ Toe dippin' on the Disney Wonder. }

Week Twelve

{ When sorting through belongings, I found so much of me that my sister saved including this gem that our cousins wrote for us at our wedding. This will take you back fifteen years... }

Week Eleven

{ Sorting through bins of scrapbooking supplies; embellishments that will bless my memory books. }

Week Ten

{ Turning the key for the last time; locking years of memories held in my sisters home. } 

Week Nine

{ Learning to interpret through drawing; a girl in a swim suit. }

Week Eight

{ My sisters life was rooted vertically in the Truth of the horizontal pages of God's Word. } 

Week Seven

{ Addison has a gift of detail when it comes to decorating. }

Week Six

{ Make Take Bake }

I left with ten pre-made freezer meals and 3 more grab and go meals. Not only was this fun to do with girlfriends, but it was quick and easy to assemble. I'll be doing this again for sure!

Week Five

{ We celebrated Grandpa Broersma this week as he turned 90 years old. }

His mind may not always be in it's right place but this sweet old man has taught Tim many life lessons. From war stories, being the oldest of many siblings and having many kids, running a business and since the move into the Dutch Village Mall, the daily walks to check in with Tim (even though he doesn't remember why he's there most times), Grandpa has imparted so much wisdom into our lives from living his to the fullest. 

Happy Birthday Grandpa. 

Week Four

{ A smile in progress. }

A year in the making and finally, the day came when the Herbst Appliance was removed. No more hydro-squeeks when she eats or limits on how wide she can open her mouth. Her smile now reveals a set of lower braces until it's perfected and approved by Dr. D. 

Week Three

The moment the snow melts and missing articles are found. 

Week Two

The moment it's time to go to bed and all in the house shut down and go dark. 

Week One

{ Nothing beats a new head to a mama's busy kitchen scrub brush. }

Yes, there were many other new things this week, but nothing that quite excited me like this did. A new bottle of DayQuil, a new yearly organizer, a new pair of jeans, new tooth brushes...first week of the year found many opportunities for new things and adventures.
