A regular week really.
Nothing major besides having a huge mud pit in the front yard for young children to play in. The temperatures grew warmer and we had another week with spared weather as we delivered Christmas cards to all those on Addison's paper route. We've gotten really good with the timing of delivery and the kids have complained less each time. Auntie Traci helped out quite a bit this week as Tim had me cooking for some of his site guys and then again overnight for the company Christmas party. We had a great time catching up with everyone from Elements and enjoyed some late night snacks at Packer's after the party. Nothing beats a delicious cheese plate at 11:30! Saturday night was the Christmas Lighted Parade which we enjoyed from inside Daddy's office. Always a fun evening watching the floats go by full of lights and Christmas cheer. We served hot cider in the Windmill and I'm sure that kept many hands warm while standing outside watching. After the parade, the Ellis family and our kids enjoyed playing around in the miniature golf for a few fun rounds of golf. To close off the week, we had the Van Dyken family party here at home. Finger foods, sweet treats and a few hours to catch up with cousins. Not too mention Miss Kaylee, the newest to the family by a few weeks! Thank you Lindy for letting many of us cousins and Auntie's to have baby snuggles.
On to the next week. School routines, business travel and Auntie Traci heading back to Portland. My fingers are crossed for a change of weather in
the form of fluffy white stuff falling from the sky...
