Week Six

{ Make Take Bake }

I left with ten pre-made freezer meals and 3 more grab and go meals. Not only was this fun to do with girlfriends, but it was quick and easy to assemble. I'll be doing this again for sure!

Week Five

{ We celebrated Grandpa Broersma this week as he turned 90 years old. }

His mind may not always be in it's right place but this sweet old man has taught Tim many life lessons. From war stories, being the oldest of many siblings and having many kids, running a business and since the move into the Dutch Village Mall, the daily walks to check in with Tim (even though he doesn't remember why he's there most times), Grandpa has imparted so much wisdom into our lives from living his to the fullest. 

Happy Birthday Grandpa. 

Week Four

{ A smile in progress. }

A year in the making and finally, the day came when the Herbst Appliance was removed. No more hydro-squeeks when she eats or limits on how wide she can open her mouth. Her smile now reveals a set of lower braces until it's perfected and approved by Dr. D.
